A new town is proposed for Adlington in the September government announcement.
12 sites are identified, three targeted for commencement in this Parliament. Adlington is in the list but it is not clear exactly what the next steps are.
The developer has set up a website and after their failure to get approval for a 20,000 house new town, the fight to preserve our greenbelt continues.
Poynton Conservatives are working hard with other groups to ensure a new town is built by stealth. |
